Learning Outcomes

This course is intended to train students to design, run, and critically assess economic experiments studying financial phenomena. To do so, students will be taught the basics of statistical analysis and experimental best practices. This will allow them to design their own experiments and to discuss the latest publications in the top journals.

Content

The course will cover the most relevant topics of experimental finance (both in the field and in the lab). The first three lectures will be devoted to understanding and mastering the necessary statistical tools, as well as to explaining the best practices in experimental economics.
