Learning Outcomes

Acquisition of deeper knowledge in current research topics of computational neuroscience. Students will be able to search relevant actual literature to a given topic, and present their results in a talk and a written report.

Content

Course with changing content in the area of computational neuroscience, cognitive science and related research fields, e.g., network dynamics, neural plasticity and learning, perception, decision making, planning, behavioural learning, language acquisition, etc.

Test description (Module completion)

The exam has the format of a portfolio exam (Portfolioprüfung). Overall, 100 portfolio points can be reached: - seminar talk (49 points) - test talk prior to the seminar talk (10 points) - written report (41 points).
