Green technologies are assumed to be key solutions in fighting against climate change. At the same time, their [anticipated] deployment raises significant questions on the sustainability and just aspects of these changes. Focusing too much on technical solutions often prevents addressing their underlying causes or changing societal structures. Conceptual reflections on multi-species, intergenerational, and technofix aspects of these technologies, from both a societal and environmental view, are key aspects for ensuring a just and sustainable future.
