Architects are in charge of the form of a building and the feeling that it causes! But do we know and understand where these feelings come from? Buildings tend to be experienced by human beings from a, for architects, atypical perspective, namely through subconscious wishes and needs, subjective experiences and triggered emotions. This altered perspective has an enormous impact on humans' spatial experience and the resulting use of the architecture that we design. Gaining insight into this experience and examining the altering factors is the goal of this seminar and a crucial base to design truly user-centred environments and evidence based design. The Seminar is meant to learn the basics of architecture psychology.
