Antisemitism is strongly connected with conspirational thinking and many conspiracy theories contain antisemitic aspects or are even antisemitic at its core. ZfA’s close cooperation partner, the Scuola Superiore di Sant’Anna in Pisa, is offering a summer school dedicated to the topic of antisemitism and conspiracy theories in multidisciplinary perspectives. In the course of one week, international scholars, among them faculty of the ZfA, will offer lectures and seminars. The summer school will take place in Pisa from June 23 to 27, travel dates are June 22 (Sunday) and June 28 (Saturday).
ZfA will cover all costs for transportation, accommodation. However, students will need to book their own flights as soon as possible, and will be reimbursed after the event.
There will be four preparatory meetings in Berlin: 14 & 21 April and 12 & 19 June. Students must be present at all meetings without exception. Interested graduate students (Master and Ph.D. level only) are asked to submit a project proposal (max. one page) by April 15 and will present these to the group during the preparatory meetings in June.
Participation is limited to ten students. Master and Ph.D. student at the ZfA are given preference. If more than ten students are interested, a selection will be made on the basis of the submitted project proposals.
