Lernergebnisse

After completing the module, students will know about the relationship between organizations, work, and the economy in modern societies. They can also discursively apply this knowledge to case studies on current societal challenges such as sustainability, digitalization, or social inequality.

Lehrinhalte

The subject area "Organization and Society" is developing dynamically. The exact course titles and content, therefore, vary. Course titles are, e.g.: - Organizational consulting - Non-profit organization - Organization and technology - Organization and Innovation - Network analysis - Alternative forms of organization in the economy - Organization and digitalization - Organization and sustainability Students can take up to seven courses in this module.

Beschreibung der Lehr- und Lernformen

The course titles assigned to the module are announced at the beginning of the semester. The seminars are based on discussions between the students and with the lecturer, whereby the focus is on working with and on the seminar texts. A presentation serves to consolidate presentation and discussion skills as well as to deepen a sub-topic of the seminar.

- At least 2nd semester in the Bachelor's program - Willingness to read texts intensively and to read literature in English. The module coordinator will check the participation requirement
