Lernergebnisse

Manageable research questions in the area of sensor and actuator applications are independently investigated and understood using English technical literature. The students derive the capability to explain the topic to a professional audience in an adequate manner.

The seminar deals with typical scientific research topics concerning sensors and actuator systems and applications.

Beschreibung der Lehr- und Lernformen

Students prepare the presentation of a topic and give a talk to fellow students and members of the institute. If required, guidance in the selection of literature, structure of the content and form of the talk as well as the presentation is provided. However, the focus is on self-directed preparation using original literature. Finally an elaborated report of the talk must be provided. Depending on circumstances the talks are given during the lecture period or in blocks shortly after.

Prüfungsbeschreibung (Abschluss des Moduls)

In the oral part the depth of the topic of the talk, the ability to answer the audiences questions, the quality and style of presentation will be evaluated. In the written part the adherence to scientific standards, clarity of expression and form will add to the points in addition to the talks content.

Für Belegung und Abschluss des Moduls ist folgende Semesteranzahl veranschlagt:
