Learning Outcomes

Students master the basics of information and communication technology in the field of the image-based medicine. They know the most important imaging procedures and are able to carry out programming tasks in the field of computer engineering in biomedicine.

Content

Digital imaging in medicine, e.g. CT, MRI, PET, SPECT, molecular imaging, PACS, IHE, IPD, CAD, CAS, SRI, SN, SSE, system specification and application in medicine.

Test description (Module completion)

In compliance with § 47 (2) AllgStuPO, the overall grade is calculated according to the scoring system 1 of the Faculty IV. 1. Homework: The students are evaluated on their knowledge of the theoretical and practical fundamentals relating to the course content as they give detailed written replies to respective questions. 2. Oral Consultation: The students are evaluated on their ability to implement and apply the course content as they give oral replies to specific questions.
