Lernergebnisse

The students develop their expertise in energy policy and energy economics by dealing with current issues in energy policy and energy economics. They learn the ability to analyse complex issues, to present them in a way that is appropriate for the target group and to moderate a professional exchange. An appealing presentation style will be trained in order to prepare the students for situations in their everyday professional life.

Lehrinhalte

Building on the knowledge acquired in the courses Energy Economics and Energy Systems, students will address current developments in the energy markets. The students will analyse the background of the problems, the institutional boundary conditions and facts, and elaborate solution concepts and possible courses of action from an engineering and economic perspective. Due to the close contact between the students and the supervisors (at least two individual meetings must be held during the course), the students gain an in-depth insight into currently relevant developments in the energy markets.
