Description of Teaching and Learning Methods

This module will be held as a seminar where students learn the fundamentals and the state-of-art of management of agricultural residues in different cultural frames, the handling of the organic residues and the challenges concerning climate change and sustainable development of rural areas. The presentation of current research papers will illustrate the research perspective. The students will work in groups on a semester project which will be linked to a distinct study region. The groups will elucidate different objectives related to the management of agricultural residues in this region. The students solve independently a research question on the basis of literature research, data inquiry and modeling. The results will be presented at the final conference/workshop. One excursion is complementing the theoretical knowledge with a practical experience
