Learning Outcomes

Methods and techniques dealing with special areas from the fields of modeling of hydro- and environmental systems and hydro-informatics will be introduced. The students shall obtain a solid and future-oriented education which prepares them to work in the field of numerical modelling of hydro- and environmental systems. Content

A selection of the following special topics will be treated (usually as block courses): large scale hydrological modelling, CFD in hydraulic engineering, ecohydraulics, information modelling and management, multi-phase-flow in porous media, high performance computing, computer exercise with engineering examples
