In der Vorlesung werden unteranderem folgende Themen behandelt: 1. Einführung in die geographische Ökonomie 2. The Spatial Impossibility Theorem 3. Optimal land allocation (von Thünen) 4. Geographische Ökonomie a la Krugman 5. Anwendungen auf globalen Handel – Zusammenhang mit Konsumbasierten CO2-Emissionen 6. Optimale urbane Transportsysteme unter Einbezug von Umweltexternalitäten Das Seminar ist falkultativ; spezielle Themen werden behandelt. "Climate Change and Geographical Economics: Selected Issues" im SoSe angeboten
