Learning Outcomes
Students are able to evaluate and assess planning approaches and processes critically and in a reflected manner considering socio-spatial and political-institutional settings and development trends. They have knowledge of the developments in sociospatial and politico-institutional contexts of urban and regional planning, of topics and currents in critical urban and planning research with an interdisciplinary perspective, as well as of approaches and methods of policy analysis, especially its application
in urban and regional research. Furthermore, they have the skills to analyse and interpret planning approaches and processes from a socio-political perspective
and to apply approaches and methods of policy analysis in urban and regional research.
