Learning Outcomes

The students will run a project seminar at an Afghan University in which they plan, discuss and implement an IT project. They organize and plan this themselves while at the same time integrating and embedding this endeavour in the national IT framework of Afghanistan. The core qualifications obtained in this module are to self-reliantly organize their own seminar including a didactic concept while accomodating the different necessities of project management.

Content

The module consists of a one semester project in which the students will lead a group of their students at an Afghan University in jointly developing an IT system for a university or public authority in Afghanistan. The students have to coordinate with the Afghan universities and the Ministry of Higher Education to integrate their teaching with the didactic goals of the universities and to make sure their project is relevant to the Higher Education strategy of the Afghan administration.
