Learning Outcomes

The module consists of a one semester project in which the students will design, implement, test, and document an IT system for a university or public authority in Afghanistan in groups. Teamwork will play a crucial role in completing the projects.

Content

The students will develop a research design for a particular topic which is related to the current situation of IT in Afghanistan. Furthermore, they will draft a methodology how to actually perform the field work. The projects are to be designed according to the Afghan National IT Strategy Plan of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Description of Teaching and Learning Methods

The students will develop a concept for the implementation of a scientific IT project in Afghanistan. This project is to be adapted to the current needs and the situation in Afghanistan.
