Learning Outcomes

Students who have successfully completed this module, have acquired the most important skills in application and development of Web Technologies as well as their application in online media (e.g., Web-TV, Streaming, Content Protection, Social Media), Telecommunications (e.g. Web-RTC) and the Internet of Things.

Content

The seminar will train the participants in the necessary skills of assessing and understanding scientific literature. Specifically, participants will learn the standard, structured ways of reviewing cited background literature of a scientific publication and assess the related research and state of the art. Based on this assessment strategies the seminar will provide guidelines and tools for a structured scientifc presentation in written text and as a presentation.

Description of Teaching and Learning Methods

Das Modul besteht aus einer Vorlesung, die mit einem schriftlichen Test abgeschlossen wird und einem Seminar. Im Seminar werden die Inhalte vertiefend durch Vorträge der Studierenden vorgestellt und mit der schriftlichen Ausarbeitung/ Dokumentation des Vortrags abgeschlossen.
