Content

The module consists of one required course and practical exercise: Required course and practical exercise: "Design, Simulation and Reliability of Microsystems" (Lecture): The lecture takes a detailed look at the design and simulation techniques for microsystems. The content design methodologies (general methodologies and finite-element-method) as well as interconnects, heat dissipation, mechanical problems, and reliability aspects. The language of the course is English. "Design, Simulation and Reliability of Microsystems" (Practical Exercise): In the exercise, the methods that are discussed in the lecture will be used with the help of CAD programs. The language for this course is English.

Test description (Module completion)

Insgesamt können 100 Portfoliopunkte erreicht werden Im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltungen sind jeweils verschiedene Studienleistungen zu erbringen. Ihre Art und Gewichtung in Portfoliopunkten sind in der unten stehenden Tabelle aufgeführt. Die Gesamtnote gemäß §47 (2) AllgStuPO wird nach dem Notenschlüssel 2 der Fakultät IV ermittelt. All together, 100 portfolio points can be achieved. During the courses there are different requirements. The type and weight of the portfoliopoints are described in the following table.
