Learning Outcomes

The students are able, after passing the module, to read up on the state-of-the-art of a given subject in the area of battery research and to present and evaluate the state-of-the-art.


Content of this seminar is to choose a current battery research subject and to summarizeand present the existing literature. Each participant gets a different subject. Example subjects are: - Ageing processes of different battery technologies, e.g. lithium plating or SEI growth - Working principle of new battery technologies, e.g. lithium air or lithium sulfur batteries - trends in material research, e.g. electrolytes for high voltage batteries
