Learning Outcomes

Based on the knowledge from the lecture Functional Analysis I, the students should receive a comprehensive overview of the main topics in Functional Analysis.

Content

Spectral theorem for bounded and unbounded selfadjoint operators in Hilbert spaces, Fourier analysis, Sobolev spaces, distributions, approximation theory in normed spaces.
