Learning Outcomes

• understanding of size-dependent properties of nanoscled materials • understanding and presenation of the structure-property relationship in nanoscaled materials • understanding and explanation of the different methods for the synthesis, processing and applications of nanoscaled materials

Content

The synthesis, characterization and properties of nanomaterials and corresponding applications are discussed. In this regard, top-down and bottom-up approaches for the preparation of nanomaterials are introduced and size-dependent electrical, magnetic, mechanical and chemical properties will be elaborated.
