Description of Teaching and Learning Methods

Die Vorlesung wird durch digitale Medien unterstützt (Beamer). Im Seminar wird anhand spezifischer Fragestellungen das vermittelte Wissen angewandt und vertieft. Hausaufgaben werden alleine oder in Teamarbeit bearbeitet. Lösungswege und Ergebnisse werden dann im Rahmen von Präsenzterminen vorgestellt und diskutiert. Abschließende schriftliche Prüfung.

Requirements for participation and examination

Desirable prerequisites for participation in the courses:

Gute Kenntnisse in Molekulargenetik und Technischer und industrieller Mikrobiologie. Ein generelles Interesse an systembiologischen Fragestellungen und Konzepten der Bioinformatik sollte vorhanden sein.
