The course consists of lectures and a variety of interactive approaches, including discussions of the assigned readings, point-counterpoint debates, think-pair-share exercises and small group exercises. In most sessions, journal article excerpts (e.g., tables with statistical or coding results) will be discussed to provide illustrative examples of the different methods.
