Learning Outcomes

1. Students understand specific features of secure computer systems. 2. Students have knowledge about vulnerabilities of complex computer systems. 3. Students are able to evaluate aspects of the security of complex computer systems.

Content

Projects will always be customized regarding the students‘ requirements, and offered within the scope of the Computer Security project. Possible topics include security analysis of embedded systems (routers, smart tvs, set top boxes etc.), protocol analysis and fuzzing, reverse engineering of executables and microkernel/hypervisor improvements.
