Learning Outcomes

Im Modul “Human Side of Innovation” wird der gesellschaftliche Kontext für Kreativität und Innovation beleuchtet. Studenten werden Einblicke über die Relevanz von Individuen, Gruppen und Gesellschaften für den kreativen Prozess und die Steuerung von Innovation bekommen. Dafür werden folgende Fragen aufgeworfen: – Was macht Individuen kreativ? – Unter welchen Voraussetzungen entsteht eine kreative Arbeitsumgebung? – Womit kann man Problemlösungskompetenzen fördern? – Wie entstehen Innovationen und wie verbreiten sie sich? – Welche gesellschaftlichen Faktoren beeinflussen Innovationen? – Wie können Manager und Organisationen diese Faktoren ausschöpfen?

Description of Teaching and Learning Methods

The course adresses selected challenges and opportunities relating to managing creativity and innovation. We will use case studies, research articles, guest presentations and excersises to provide common experiences and discuss and interpret them together.

The portfolio examination consists of the following elements, adding up to a maximum of 100 credits. The grading follows the joint conversion key of the School of Economics and Management (decision of the school's council dated May 28, 2014 - FKR VII-4/8-28.05.2014).
